Gabion is one of the main tools to deal with flood

Recently, the concentrated rainfall in many places has caused the rapid overflow of rivers. China has entered a critical period of flood control. 

The ability of urban drainage, water proofing, flood control and waterlogging prevention of water conservancy facilities will face acid tests. 

Since July 4, the heavy rainfall has occurred in the Yangtze River and Taihu lake basins. 

Several rivers in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River issued early warning above flood. 

In view of the current flood situation, the Ministry of water resources upgraded the emergency response of flood and drought prevention level III to level II.
